Psychology: do I have a job or a career?

Psychology: do I have a job or a career?

If you do what you are supposed to do at work, you are in a job and you probably don’t look forward to Monday morning.

If on the other hand you decide occasionally to do more than your job description requires of you, if you do it willingly and with a smile, experience shows that gradually over time, the appreciation and recognition you will receive will change your attitude.

You will start looking forward to Monday morning, you will start to enjoy doing more than is asked of you and the realisation will dawn that you don't actually have a job, you have a career and you are on the road to success.
