How is your interview performance?

How is your interview performance?

Some people communicate with feeling yet succinctly, concisely: they get their message across in a few well-chosen words.

Others speak at length, they are long-winded, verbose, digressive and rambling: they just talk too much.

Now here’s a good question: think about managers, team leaders, lecturers, politicians and public speakers, even acquaintances, neighbours and family members.

Which do you prefer listening to, those who speak with concision who influence your feelings or those who waffle in a vague and trivial manner?

Having answered that question, now think about yourself as an interviewee. Which version of you do you think the interviewer prefers? Practise the gentle art of talking less and saying more. #proteuscareermanagement #interviewpreparation #interviewskills
