• Innovation update - Anti Bacterial / Anti Microbial Innovation

An important part of the guidance and advice we give to our customers at The Production Agency surrounds innovation. We find that this also helps our supply chain to run with some of those ideas and improve and commercialise them quicker as we can get some real-life feedback from our clients.

I’m a little cautious about sharing this particular innovation at this time, which for obvious reasons has become a little more available, but, I’d like to share it with you just in case anyone in your business, or your customers, may feel that this is necessary.

We are in no way medically or scientifically trained, but we are aware that there is the ability to put a transparent sealer onto (non-digitally) printed materials (which we do the majority of the time to protect print anyway) that contains some anti-bacterial/anti-microbial qualities and leaves a slight silk but totally transparent finish to paper based materials.

We can see this being useful perhaps where materials are handled by multiple people, perhaps across a more public environment, rather than single user/single use printed materials.

If you would like to know how this could be used, see the technical details behind the sealer and perhaps talk through whether this would be useful for any of your printed materials, please let me know.
