Ok, I know, by modern standards both of these artworks should not be described as logos.
Recently a number of brands have been calling on their heritage and reviving old logos, most recently, Renault and Peugeot. The new (old) Peugeot logo really caught me off guard because it's very different to the previous logo but also that I didn't know the 60s logo they have reverted back to. This got me thinking and just for fun, I was compelled to create this updated version of the Apple logo in the style of the original Apple logo. Clearly, it doesn't fit the Apple branding at all but I certainly enjoyed the process and the result.
