Child Benefit Changes!!! How will it effect you…

More than a million families will see their income cut in January as the Government begins to claw back child benefit payments from all those earning £50,000 or more. Despite the change being proposed two years ago, HM Revenue & Customs is only now writing to those affected to warn them that they face a tax charge if they do not stop claiming this benefit in the new year. Many families say they have been given insufficient time to prepare for the changes, which could cost those with three children almost £2,500 a year. If you or your clients want to know how to keep this Child Benefit then call Dominic Smith on 07749 076778.
