Recruit an apprentice with Baltic Training
Recruiting an apprentice might seem complicated at first, but at Baltic Training we have years of experience, having worked throughout the UK to provide companies with award-winning IT apprentices. 89% of employers believe that apprenticeships have improved the quality of their business, so why not join them and really make your business go places!
If your business is a small/medium enterprise (SME) with less than 50 employees, there may be further advantages to taking on an apprentice. The government’s employer grant (or Apprenticeship Grant for Employers) gives SMEs £1500 towards the costs of hiring an apprentice aged between 16 and 24, and if your payroll is below £3m per annum you will also save the cost of paying the Apprenticeship Levy. With the IT industry still in relative infancy and growing day-by-day, it is integral that the UK workforce keeps the sector growing, in order to prevent us falling behind in Europe. Apprenticeships are a cost-effective way of bridging the tech skills gap, and a great way of helping people into work.
