Let things blow up first?

Let things blow up first?

Then suddenly you’re incredible.

Focused.

Decisive.

Getting shit done you’ve been avoiding for three weeks.

Client leaves? Right, let’s get some leads.

Money feels tight? Suddenly we’re looking at the numbers.

Conversation becomes unbearable? Fine, we’ll finally have it 🤝

And the funny thing is, being good when shit gets real is probably one of your strengths.

It’s probably helped you get where you are.

But I do wonder if some of us have got so good at operating under pressure that we accidentally wait for the pressure.

Because that’s when we know how to move.

And until then?

We carry the thing around.

Think about it.

Avoid it.

Do seventeen other productive things instead.

Feel slightly on edge because we know it’s still there.

Until eventually it becomes urgent enough.

And off we go. 😂

Maybe the next thing to get good at isn’t handling more pressure?

It’s moving before you need it 🫡
