As a new manager, leadership can feel a bit like playing a game where you’re the only one who doesn’t know the rules, and it can be a real challenge to figure it out by yourself.

What is the best way to consistently get the best from your team?

Is there some secret that you’re not in on?

Now that you’ve secured that promotion and you’ve got people to lead, how can you successfully live up to your new responsibilities?

If you’re a new manager/director/leader and these sound like the sorts of things that are worrying you today, then I can help!

Having been both a student and practitioner of leadership & management myself, I’ve learned from experience and I’ve certainly made my fair share of mistakes!

Now I’m keen to share the benefit of that knowledge with anyone who is new in the role, specifically:

- How to consistently build rapport and engage well with your team members & colleagues

- Which leadership approaches DO work in a commercial, SME environment (and which DON'T!)

- What not to do, if you want to be trusted and respected as a leader

Leadership is a skill, not a talent: it takes practice, but it can be learned and improved.
