Andrew Lofthouse Consultancy Ltd is the business name but it has a number of different trading names underneath the parent company. 'The Northern Wine Guy' and 'The Northern Travel Guy' being the two main businesses.
After nearly 20 years as an investment banking professional, I did 7 years of wine qualifications as well as becoming a qualified cheesemonger, to create a wine and cheese business based in Devon. After it being successful as a multi faceted business, I sold it and moved back to Yorkshire.
As The Northern Wine Guy, we cover private and corporate drinks cellar builds, drinks hosting events in-house and at off site venues, hosting two sponsored podcasts on wine, a published drinks writer and advisor into fine wine investing.
As The Northern Travel Guy - every type of booking that involves more than one element of travel. So everything from flight+hotel to package holidays, sports holidays, tailormades, cruises, city breaks and more. Having travelled to date to 72 countries in the world, individual recommendations, highlights, and the 24/7 personal support are part of the one stop shop service which provides ABTA protection on your bookings. No cost to you as the customer, we charge the operators not our clients for our services.
I am also in the process of starting the Finance Club for Y9 and Y10 kids in schools to get the basics in finance and giving them key core skills for the future. I am also a co-owner of The Sheffield Table, a 5 and 7 course tasting menu in the heart of Sheffield as well as building an app and the Finance and Banking Academy too.
