Summary
As an amateur naturalist I am passionate about doing all I can to preserve our natural environment and Ecocleen has a corporate commitment equal to my own. We support all our client organisations in reducing their environmental impact and in achieving ambitious CSR targets which many set themselves. Traditionally, cleaning is not an environmentally-friendly activity, but in Ecocleen we make it as green as possible. We are not the only commercial cleaning company to use eco-friendly products, but we are amongst a small number and were at the vanguard of the green cleaning movement. For us, eco-cleaning is not simply a selling point - it is engrained within our 'soul'.
The products we use are not only safer for the environment, but also for our cleaners and for customer employees, visitors and consumers. We work with many schools, nurseries, care homes and medical establishments because we remove the risks associated with access or exposure to harmful chemicals.
Being people and environment-friendly is laudable, but we also have to deliver cleaning to the highest standards. Our SLAs are based on outputs rather activities or effort. We don't commit to our clients that we will vacuum the carpets once a day for example, but what the carpet will look like when we have finished. We audit outputs and are so confident in our ability to deliver a great service that we are prepared to offer a guarantee of our delivery standards.
Customer service is paramount to us. As the Regional Director I am not simply a name and web-site photograph to my Yorkshire-based clients. They see me regularly and I think of myself as a business partner, adding value to their organisation by taking away headaches, allowing them to get on with delivering their core activities and giving them, their staff and customers a great, clean and green environment.
Ecocleen operates to the highest standards of Health & Safety. Perhaps the greatest value we bring to our customers is the fact that we 'cover their backs' in terms of joint health and safety liabilities - sometimes removing exposure they hadn't even appreciated.
