I am the owner of LinksVA.  LinksVA is a virtual office offering all aspects of administration support including book-keeping and project support.  

Although I work virtually, my clients receive the same high standard as if I was working from the desk next to them.  I take the time to understand their business and their needs which enables me and my amazing team to give the highest level of support possible.  Although we work virtually, we are not invisible.  I also understand that my clients do not necessarily work 9 - 5 so neither do we.

By taking away the non incoming generating tasks, my clients are left free to work on their business rather than in it.  I am also passionate about ensuring my clients' business processes are streamlined and understood, which not only saves them money but it ensures their staff are working together towards the same goal.

Area of Expertise


My background includes working both in a secretarial and customer facing position for Barclays Bank Plc.  I then spent several years working in Finance and on large, high profile projects for Barclaycard.  I have strong communication skills which were showcased  whilst working on the Chip and PIN project, by writing and presenting to the then Shadow Home Secretary, Michael Howard.  I also represented the Barclays Group by attending industry wide meetings to ensure the correct message around Chip and PIN was being portrayed to the general public.

I identified issues within some processes within Barclaycard whilst working in the Business Engineering Team by fully understanding the processes and mapping them using a tool (Enterprise Modeller) which is very similar to Visio.  I currently use Visio and Gliffy for Business Process Mapping.

My business is now 3 years old and I have been successfully managing the bookkeeping for several clients using the online accounting software Xero as well as using Excel for smaller, less complex books.
