The Challenge
Hasmonean approached Prime Connect with a challenge. Their existing telephone system, a ten year old Telrad PBX, continually crashed and required replacement parts which were becoming expensive and difficult to source. The maintenance contract on the system was £5,400 per annum and additionally, the school received telecoms bills from three different suppliers. This made reconciliation of costs both time consuming and confusing.
The Solution
Prime Connect commissioned a modern NEC system to be installed on a five-year plan which cost less than their previous maintenance charge of £5,400. Prime Connect also transferred all of their lines, ISDN30e circuits, SIP trunks and additionally installed a new ISDN2e solution for an adjacent building.
The Result
The school now has a reliable phone system configured to the schools needs with no additional maintenace costs at all and with the added benefit of one single monthly bill and reduction of call charges of more than 35%.
