Alan has over twenty years of business recovery and insolvency experience. Alan spent the first ten years of his career at Ernst & Young in London working on high profile insolvencies including Barings Group of Banks and Commodore Computers. Alan moved to the North West during 1987 with KPMG working on smaller trading insolvencies. Alan qualified in 2004 and immediately started taking insolvency appointments specialising in the corporate side of insolvency concentrating on both the trading and pre packed style of Administrations and Creditors Voluntary Liquidations. Alan has also assisted a number of small businesses and individuals on informal agreements and business turnarounds. Alan now concentrates on providing advice to owner managed businesses and self employed businessmen with turnover upto £5m. Alan is licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Alan specialises in providing advice to owner managed businesses and self employed businesses with cash flow issues throughout the North West of England from offices in Manchester. In addition to providing the normal services including Administrations, Liquidations (including MVLs - solvent liquidations), Company Voluntary Arrangements, Individual Voluntary Arrangements and Bankruptcy we also work closely with the Clients current advisors with a view to avoiding an insolvency proceedure and actively look at the alternatives including business turnaround. Our costs are very competitive compared to our competitors based in Manchester.
