At a time when dwindling supplies of fossil fuels and the ever increasing energy costs are on everyone’s mind, a shift to “greener living” is quickly becoming the world’s hottest topic. In the UK the introduction of the Government’s “Clean Energy Cash-back Scheme” in April 2010 has made solar energy, not only an ecologically viable option, but a financially sound one too. My role as solar consultant is to determine the eligibility of domestic and commercial properties for the government's cash-back scheme by conducting a FREE survey. Where applicable a recommendation for the installation of panels will be made. I will provide estimates of energy and carbon savings, income, payback time and returns on investment as well as finance options.
Millions of pounds have already been paid out but these incentives will not be around forever.
