David was the first employee of Fellows Environmental, joining in February 2011 after the completion of his Masters in Environmental Management & Consultancy at Lancaster University which directly followed his BSc in Natural Science from the University of Durham. He performs the role of Environmental Scientist.
His wide-ranging education has given him a broad collection of skills, which allow him to contribute to a large variety of projects involving numerical work, reporting, desk research, field work and computational modelling.
As part of his Masters course, he undertook work placements with Blakeley’s Waste Management Ltd in Wigan and Stopford Projects in Lancaster where he proved his all-round capabilities and acquired some useful experience prior to joining the industry.
For Fellows, he produces a lot of the mathematical works for the Life Cycle Analysis and other modelling projects, develops draft reports and keeps the company up to date with changes in industry regulation and news stories. He aids Nick and Simon with any jobs the company is currently undertaking and complements his position with Graduate membership of the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management and membership of the North West Energy Forum.
