I am a trained actress turned Producer, recently labelled an 'Entrepreneur'.
I am currently on the National Film and TV School's diploma course: Entrepreneurial Producing in the Creative Industries which is just mind bogglingly good.
Expertise
I have been working mostly in film and TV for many years. I became a producer by mistake - I just happen to be great at getting things done and projects finished. Now I am passionate about it.
I have been a stallholder (franchise owner), Head of Promotions and Marketing for a hotel chain in Bahrain, produced theatre, cabarets, short films, feature films.. you name it. I also run North West Women in the Creative Industry in Manchester in my own time and was made ambassador for the Underwire Festival in London. I organise events for both and am looking for organise networking events for this group too soon.
I have done short courses in buiness with Salford Council (who also funded us £1000 for new equipment) Film Train and The Prince's Trust.
