Summary
I am the head of Hill Dickinson’s commercial litigation team and also head the firm's Manchester office. I have over 20 years' experience of handling high-profile, high-value and complex litigation including judicial review. I have had success in the Court of Appeal on a wide range of matters covering contractual issues in the sports and aviation sectors, injunctive relief in alleged fraud actions and I have handled arbitration in relation to disputes on behalf of one of my major clients.
I have advised clients on competition law issues, including advice to a large corporate client in respect of potential Abuse of a Dominant Position issues surrounding restrictive covenants in leases.
A large number of the disputes that I deal with involve sensitive and highly confidential issues, particularly involving high profile individuals. I have represented a large number of celebrities and other high profile individuals in connection with phone hacking claims, and in particular issues of breach of confidentiality and breach of the Data Protection Act.
