I have been working in the North East and now the North West of the country for the past 10 years dealing with both Claimant and Defendant costs. I trained at Irwin Mitchell Solicitors and qualified through the Association of Costs Lawyers training programme and became a Costs Lawyer in 2010. I have gained vast experience all areas of costs including clinical negligence, all areas of personal injury claims, commercial costs, Legal Aid costs and Solicitor/Client costs. I have also dealt with costs as a Defendant. I have been involved with detailed assessment of both Claimant and Defendant costs.
I work for Impact costs which is a firm priding itself in dealing with all aspect of costs from straight forward personal injury to complex multi-party actions. We act for Claimant and Defendant firms in relation to costs estimates/budgeting all the way through to the preparation of the final bill and to the negotiated settlement or detailed assessment of the costs in the following areas,
