Summary
I have worked in the payroll, HR and pensions industry for more than 30 years. During this time I have worked in the local government, not for profit (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals – Associate Director of Policy) and the private sector. I was one of the first women to be become a Payroll Partner within an accountancy firm in her role as Head of Payroll Services and People with Armstrong Watson. I am now part of the leadership team at the award-winning, AAB tech enabled business critical service group, to help support their clients to achieve their goals and to support colleagues. I am also involved with government consultation forums, namely HMRC’s Admin Burdens Advisory Board and HMRC’s Employment and Payroll Group. I also represent deferred pension members on the Cumbria Local Government Pensions Board.
