Summary
While I am now mostly retired I continue to share my knowledge and experience gained over fifty years as a leader and almost forty creating, developing and selling businesses.
I am the business coach for the Knowledge Transfer Network at Bradford University School of Management one of the best business schools in Europe.
I have developed methods and techniques I call Persuasive Negotiation that provide a tool box of influencing and persuasion skills. With this toolbox others will agree with you and accept your proposals, ideas and plans.
Expertise
In 2010 I was voted Business Mentor of the Year in a national poll organised by Yell.com. I have mentored and coached over 500 business owners and managers since I quit full time work in 1998; then I had sold parts of the public telephone business I had created and made the second largest independent in Europe.
I have created and developed 6 businesses, 2 of these I grew to over £1M t/o before selling all or part. some of my start ups did not make it.
There are some things we can only learn by failing. This experience and education to Master of Business Administration has given me a great deal of knowledge to share.
Most of my success was due to my ability to influence and persuade. I studied and improved the techniques I use; I researched and discovered the science and psychology that form the reasons these techniques work so well and consistantly. I share this knowledge with my clients.

Interests and Hobbies
I am now too old to participate but I love deep sea sailing, I did this for many years on tall ships. I love to watch rugby (the original format.)
