Summary
The Is Mise Cara (“I am Cara”) Brain Disease Foundation is a British Registered Charity formed in 2022, and dedicated to Cara, my daughter. Cara was diagnosed with a brain stem tumour in August 2018 and passed away in December 2019 aged 11 years old.
With an intimate understanding of this kind of patient’s needs, The Foundation seeks to support the patient, their families and carers by providing the necessary resources to offer some respite and relief by providing short breaks and holidays.
The Foundation hopes to inspire all involved to fight through and overcome some of their adversities.
