Summary
I have worked in many different sectors of Occupational Health with both small and large organisations. I am comfortable working as a hands on nurse advisor as well as advising management on policy and Occupational Health strategy. I began working for myself in 2006 and following on from a very successful sole trader business, set up Phoenix Occupational Health Ltd in 2011.
I have completed accredited courses in Spirometry, Audiology, Skin Surveillance, Hand Arm Vibration Assessments and Vision Screening and I also attend a yearly legal update for Occupational Health professionals to ensure I am aware of new changes to legislation and keep up to date with test cases relevant to my area of practice.
I am also a practice teacher for Robert Gordon University and mentor nurses working towards their degree in Occupational Health.
