As a Client Relationship Manager, I nurture clients for growth and retention in the company to maximise profitability. Like in my previous work in Havas, I also immersed myself with the client's goals and visions to align our outputs with a long-term strategy. After presenting briefs and agreeing on the terms, I compute the quotations and designate resources for the initiative. My role, however, shines when managing the project. I look for opportunity points where we can add value to their brand to help them grow better.
The challenge in my role is in unearthing internal and external gaps, as well as managing escalations. To get to the bottom of a problem, I make sure to investigate the problem from a process perspective, and see what we can improve with the team before communicating it to the client. With all of these responsibilities, it all boils down to going above and beyond at providing what they need and looking at "what's next" for the company, including its processes and industry at large.
