Summary
I am a European Patent Attorney based in Cardiff in the south of Wales.
My patent practice encompasses all aspects of patent applications in the technical fields of consumer electronic devices, optics, aeronautics, manufacturing, AI and machine learning, and computer implemented inventions. I work for a broad range of national and international clients from large multinational companies to SMEs to individual inventors. Additionally, I have worked closely with in-house counsel for a number of clients to assist the prosecution of their large international patent portfolios.
My background is in physics and specifically optics, ultrafast laser physics, and strong field laser matter interactions. During my PhD I had hands on experience in optics labs using femtosecond laser beamlines and characterisation techniques; ultra low vacuum technology; and gas delivery systems.
