Summary
Oliver Delgaram-Nejad is an established provider of language-science services: communications training and continual professional development; impression management; facework; negotiation; persuasion, influence, and compliance; discourse, corpus, conversation, multi-channel, and statistical analyses. His PhD research examines the composite language and communication phenomena of schizophrenia, as relative to figurative language processing, using experimental psycholinguistic methods; his master's dissertation focused on paralinguistics: blended displays (i.e. complex facial expressions) of emotion; and his bachelor's took the form of a stylistics combined honours (i.e. linguistics with creative writing). His vocational experience includes a substantive clinical education post within NHS psychiatric services—specifically, as an interpersonal communications tutor; in parallel, he has provided consultancy services since 2011.
