Counsellor
1 - 5 Employees 2013 - CurrentAs a counsellor I strive to provide a non-judgmental, understanding and honest relationship in a safe environment. I have been in private practice for six years and counselled young people, adults and couples. I offer face to face sessions, online and telephone sessions as well as home visits around Leeds and surrounding areas.
In addition to my private practice I am undertaking sessional counselling sessions in Wakefield primary schools.
I have worked with children, young people and adults of all ages and backgrounds within the Health Authority, Local Authority and the voluntary sector. As a tutor for adults with learning and other disabilities I facilitated groups on emotions, coping with stress and anger, self esteem and confidence building as well as relationships and bereavement.
