Business Line 1: Oyster Venture Partners - Health Tech
We are an advisory firm specialising in the health tech space, supporting companies with corporate transactions, typically capital raising and trade/PE exit. Our advisory work spans founders and funders globally, with a core focus across the business on the 4Ds of health tech: Digital, Diagnostic, Device and Drug. Our model centres on ensuring clients are investor-ready prior to going to market, matching them with a pre-validated investors/buyers base and being the sector partner of choice from the marketing campaign to transaction completion.
We have invested a significant amount of time in building the team and business network to support our model, alongside the development of a 15,000+ global investor database, with which we engage on a daily basis.
Business Line 2: Data Valuation Partners – Sector Agnostic
In 2021, we witnessed an ever-increasing number of clients utilising large volumes of data in the creation of their business IP. Off the back of that, we have developed a data valuation service offering, delivering valuation reports on data sets embedded and often hidden within our client base; which have previously gone unrecognized and therefore unleveraged.
To date, we have identified over $8.1bn of intangible data assets within our client base, which have spanned a range of sectors and is being leveraged within corporate transactions, including investment, M&A and data monetisation.
We have built a network of channel partners who have access to data clients, as well as lenders and insurers who are looking at leveraging data as collateral.
