Summary
I am a highly experienced CAMHS Nurse Specialist with a career dedicated to improving outcomes for young people with mental health challenges. My professional background spans a range of specialist roles, including Ward Manager of a CAMHS Eating Disorder Unit, delivering home intervention for eating disorders, and working within a General Adolescent CAMHS Unit. I have also contributed to developing future practitioners as a guest lecturer at Brighton University.
I am the Founder of two specialist ventures:
Certified Minds Ltd. – a clinician-led training company delivering tailored courses across healthcare, education, social care, and corporate sectors. Our programmes cover areas such as Mental Health First Aid, Safeguarding, workplace neurodiversity, and managing mental health in the workplace, all designed to be practical, interactive, and immediately applicable.
Rest & Reset – a specialist childcare and respite service for families with young people experiencing mental health difficulties, eating disorders, and additional needs. This service offers safe, skilled, and compassionate support at home, enabling families to access respite with confidence.
With a strong track record in both in-patient and community mental health services, I bring clinical expertise, leadership experience, and an inclusive ethos to every project. My mission is to empower professionals and families with the skills, support, and confidence to create safer, more compassionate, and more effective environments for young people and adults alike.
