Summary
35 year old IT professional who has been in the web design & online marketing industry as a manager for http://www.justinternetsolutions.co.uk for the past four years. However, before that I was a plasterer that actually found SEO & PPC 11 years ago when I was working for a friend of mine that sold pay-per-click adverts via a company called Overture. These days you might be more familiar with who bought them out as they are now called Yahoo Search Marketing. It was from PPC that I caught onto SEO and from there I was hooked.
Unfortunately Overture was bought out and the company I was with at the time had started to struggle so I decided to go back into plastering. However I had been hooked and I carried on practising SEO and other marketing channels in my spare time and particularly focusing on the affiliate marketing side of the industry.
I decided to stay in plastering before making the transition four years ago into full time IT focusing particularly on the marketing side as that is where my passion is. Today I am a manager of the marketing department for a company that has grown since I joined their ranks.
I have had some tough tests throughout the years and I have learned from some very hard mistakes, but I always have this drive in me to succeed and to never give up, and I think that is what sets me apart from many other online marketing professionals within the IT industry.

1990 - 1995This i where I attended high school. Birchall High School was known as a grammar school and shares the same plot of land with another high school, which is a catholic school called St Edmond Arrowsmiths. They reside side-by-side.
Qualifications
Completely self taught as there is no current degree or qualification in SEO & internet marketing. There are a few accreditations but as the industry moves so fast there is no real set qualification.

Online marketing has always been at the forefront of my passions. I am lucky enough to be working within an industry that I love and I hope that never changes. I love delivering good news to clients and that always strives me to try harder. After all, if our clients grow then so do we.
