Philip helped guide us through the process of securing a mortgage. He explained the processes and what was required of us, he ensured that all of our paperwork was correct and in order, then proceeded to find a suitable mortgage for us that enabled us to purchase our first home!
I first spoke to Phillip in October 2020, as we wanted to re-mortgage our property to move from an interest only mortgage onto a repayment mortgage. Due to our high debts various advisors said we would not be able to do this. Some even tried but with no success. But we really didn't want to have to sell the property we love. Phillip however, said it would still be possible. This gave us a glimmer of hope, and although he approached some lenders who would not support us, he searched and managed to find one that would. Although it's taken ages to go through checks etc, Phillip has been very encouraging, explaining what the lenders wanted, helping us work out our income/ outgoings etc to present to prospective lenders to give us the best chance of being accepted, and he kept in touch all the way. His advice is practical and to the point. Because of his persistence, we won't lose our home, and this means the world to us. We cannot thank you enough. So if you think things are impossible, don't give up as we almost did - talk to Phillip!!
